7 Amazing Weebly Websites to Check Out in 2020

Scotty Moe

Let’s be frank, Weebly offers some of the best website building services, especially when it comes to beginners. Plus, they have the numbers to back it up, as of 2020 Weebly powers more than fifty million websites. These sites combined receive an average of more than 300 million unique visitors a month! If this isn’t a sign of the platform’s growing popularity, we don’t know what is.

Unlike WordPress, which can be hard to master as it requires technical knowledge of HTML and CSS, Weebly is much more user friendly. It’s super easy to use mainly due to its drag-and-drop building system and requires no previous technical experience. Mix this with the many stylish site templates and you have yourself a platform that’s great for both personal blogs and eCommerce websites.

But don’t just take our word for it, check out these seven great examples of stylish and successful sites running on Weebly. These include personal blogs, eCommerce, and even a local business, so enjoy!

1.Backwoods Soap & Body Products

Backwoods Soap and Body Products is a small eCommerce business whose website runs on Weebly. They sell natural, handmade soaps made out of hops or beer from their family-owned brewery, named the “Backwoods Brewing Company”. Aside from soaps, they also offer hop-infuse beard oil and balms, so that there’s a little bit of something for every beer-lover out there.

When it comes to their website, the design they went with is a minimalistic one, which works great considering the niche they’re in. Upon entering the sire, you’re greeted by an image slider displaying all the different types of products they offer and the ingredients they use. And underneath that, there’s information about their business.

2. Companion Bike Seat

Companion Bike Seat is a bike seat manufacturing company based in San Francisco. However, unlike most companies in this niche, which produce aerodynamic sport seats, they focus on producing great-looking and comfortable secondary bike seats(or what they like to call “companion seats”). These are great for bringing a friend along for a ride, without them having to own a bicycle.

All of the seats which you can order from their online store are easy to install and are also compatible with most types of bicycles, whether be mountain bikes, cruisers, or even e-bikes.

As you probably already guessed their website is built on Weebly and is just as stylish as their seat designs. The landing page is sleek and the design is modern. The first thing you see once you enter the site is a catchy slogan along with a CTA that will quickly get you to their shop section. This Weebly site has pretty much everything an eCommerce site needs, an easy-to-use navigation bar, a great home page, a blog, and of course a well-structured shop page.

3. The Box Bros

The Box Bros & Co. is a small company based in California which focuses on producing rustic wooden boxes that can be used for different occasions. All the boxes they make are beautiful handmade wooden ones with a vintage design.

The Box Bros’ website is a great example of a small business taking full advantage of the Weebly platform. Their eCommerce website is sleek and tight, all excess corners have been cut here, resulting in something that although looks a bit bare-boned is just perfect. The homepage consists of a well-shot video showing how the boxes are made, under which are some great high-quality photographs of the products The Box Bros are selling.

The site is easy to navigate thanks to a cohesive top positioned navigation bar.

4. Keke’s Breakfast Cafe

Keke’s Breakfast Cafe is a local Floridian franchise dedicated to providing top-notch breakfast and lunch meals. Their menu consists of food cooked on the spot using only the freshest ingredients. Everything is handmade and the products they use to bake and cook are delivered daily from local suppliers.

This is, in my opinion, one of the best examples of a local franchise building their site using Weebly. From the start, you’re greeted by a well-designed landing page, informing you that as of the COVID-19 situation Keke’s does only deliveries at the moment. From here you can either go to their home page, check if they do deliveries in your area, or order some food.

The site sports some great mouthwatering photos of yummy food while the backgrounds are all custom and related to their business. Their social media buttons are properly positioned at the very bottom of each page making it easy for you to follow them on whichever platform you use.

5. Page Eightyfour Design

Page Eightyfour Design is the online portfolio of the graphic designer, Jay Nagra. The website is filled with a plethora of pretty illustrations all done in the artist’s distinct art style.

As far as the site is concerned it’s a simple one-page one. Aside from some additional pages dedicated to each of Nagra’s projects, everything else can be seen in one scroll. This, however, is to the site’s advantage, as with each scroll down you’re introduced to more jaw popping art, and strategically placed in the middle of it all is the “shop CTA”.

6. Kiko Plastic

Kiko Plastic is the online portfolio site of artist Kiko Rodríguez. The home page boasts a colorful grid template showcasing the artist’s eye-popping drawings and projects. Clicking any of the images takes you their equivalent project page, where you can see more information about the given drawing.

What we really love about this site is how the Instagram button is integrated into the navigation bar on top. Instagram as most of you probably know is the most popular social platform for artists who want to get their stuff out there, so it’s a cool little addition to have it included like that.

Since this is not an eCommerce site, the shop button in the navigation bar redirects you to Red Bubble where Kiko sells his merchandise.

7. Young Marine Explorers

Young Marine Explorers is an organization that aims to inspire young people living off the Bahamas to engage in marine conservation. The challenges this organization tackles include increasing marine citizenship in the area, educating the youth, and much more.

The YME organization takes full advantage of the many tools that Weebly offers. Starting with the home page, we see a catchy slogan, followed by some information regarding the organization’s goals.

There’s an in-depth “about us” page that covers pretty much everything you might want to know about this amazing organization. Their blog is extremely informative with all the facts stated being referenced at the bottom of each post.

Conclusion

Creating a website from scratch can be a daunting experience consisting of many trials and errors. However, with platforms like Weebly, you can completely skip this learning curve and get right down to designing your desired website. This can save you a lot of time or money you’d usually spend setting up a professional-looking site and will let you focus more on the content or product you’re offering.

So if you’re just getting into website building and time is of the essence and cash is limited, why not give Weebly a shot? It might just be the thing you’re looking for.
